At Panasonic Energy, we are deeply committed to accelerating the clean energy transition and strengthening the future of American manufacturing. Recently, our leaders had the privilege to represent our company – and our mission – on two influential industry panels focused on the future of energy and sustainability.

At the CAR MBS 2025 conference, Robert Winans shared insights on the “Breaking Free from Dependence: Building a U.S. Battery Materials Supply Chain” panel, exploring how innovation and local investment are empowering American auto marks and driving the EV race. Our recently opened facility in De Soto, Kansas is a cornerstone of this strategy. By focusing on locally sourced materials and a goal of achieving a 50% North American supply chain by 2030, we’re not only increasing operational stability and reducing our carbon footprint but also creating a more sustainable and resilient supply chains for the industry as a whole.

Meanwhile, at the Grundfos Industry Sustainability Summit, Panasonic Energy leader Hanna Cody participated in “The Future of Energy Production and Storage” panel, discussing how we can shape a low-carbon future amidst rapid advances in AI, electrification, and industrial growth.

We know that progress is only possible through ongoing collaboration and partnership. By learning from peers, sharing our experiences, and listening to diverse perspectives, we can continue raising the bar for sustainability.
