The grand opening of our De Soto EV battery facility marked a major milestone on Panasonic Energy’s road to growth and innovation. It was an opportunity to celebrate not only the incredible work of the team members, but the partnerships that have fueled this project every step of the way — from the customers to community leaders to countless local businesses.

In the lead-up to this historic moment, Mayor Rick Walker and the De Soto City Council made a gesture that reflects the shared pride and purpose behind this facility. The road leading to the plant has officially been renamed Energy Way — a fitting symbol of the energy Panasonic delivers to the future of electric vehicles and the momentum built together with De Soto since construction began nearly three years ago.

Thank you to Mayor Walker and the entire De Soto community for their continued support. Panasonic is proud to be working with our valued partners in driving a more sustainable future together.
